Boasting some of Western Australia’s most unique heritage sites, Pinjarra is the central hub of the Shire of Murray and was founded in 1834 by Sir Thomas Peel.
The Pinjarra Visitor Centre is housed in the historical Edenvale Heritage Complex, a beautiful Homestead built in 1888 and includes activities such as arts & craft, the machinery museum, quilt display and sales, an art gallery with artists at work and beautiful heritage rose gardens.
The beautiful Murray River flows through the town and offers many picturesque sites in which to picnic and barbecue. There is a large variety of community services and businesses in Pinjarra which makes the town a thriving community.
