Join us on a trip down memory lane whilst taking in the sights along the Mandurah foreshore.

This FREE tour is 1 hour in duration and runs on Thursdays and Fridays at 10.30am and 2pm. The tour commences at the Mandurah Visitor Centre and finishes at the Mandurah Community Museum.

The Foreshore Heritage Tour provides information on the history of Mandurah's pioneer settlers and an accurate portrayal of life as it once was. The informative narration showcases the past and present, Mandurah's indigenous cultural history, places of interest, pioneer families, their homes and their stories, community art installations and much much more

Learn about our pioneer families, settler Thomas Peel and his staff including the Sutton's, Tuckey's, Hall's and Eacott's, all of which still have family members residing in Mandurah.

An area rich in cultural history, hear the story of Yaburgurt George Winjan and the Binjareb Bilyidar tribe, traditional custodians of the land, and the struggles they faced due to European settlement.

The tour passes turn of the century buildings including: - the Brighton Hotel - Eureka Cottage and Sutton's Tea Rooms - Tuckey house - Santoy Ballroom - Scotts Garage many of which have been lovingly restored to their original condition
