The Zoo also provides free BBQ facilities for those wishing to bring their own lunch. The lush surrounds provide a perfect environment in which to simply stop and enjoy nature. Peel Zoo boarders the Murray River and has all the facilities you could want. Nearby there are parks, playgrounds, and a cafe/restaurant.
The Zoo caters for families, individuals, or large tour groups; discounts available for the latter. There is plenty of parking for coaches and cars, as well as ramps and hand rails to make life easier for the elderly and disabled. The Zoo is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm weekdays, and 9:00am to 5:00pm weekends and Public Holidays.
