History of Serpentine-Jarrahdale
Jarrahdale is a small historic town nestled in the beautiful Jarrah forests of the Darling Scarp, east of Mandurah. European settlement here dates back to the 1830’s. The key visitor activities revolve around the Old Post Office, which serves as the primary tourist centre and museum for Jarrahdale.
Visit Whittnish Cottage for a glimpse back into time to see how families lived in the early 20th century, and be sure to sample the apple pie at the 1872 Jarrahdale General Store.
