How to Get Here

Located 74 kilometres south of Perth, Mandurah is easily accessible by car and well served by trains from Perth. Parking is free within the CBD.

GETTING AROUND MANDURAH
Many of Mandurah’s attractions are in or around the city centre beside the estuary’s scenic eastern foreshore and the marina precinct, making them easily accessible. The city is very walkable, with good paths, open spaces and waterside boardwalks making a stroll an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

BY CAR

The drive from Perth to Mandurah takes less than an hour.

The high-speed option is via the Kwinana Freeway, taking the new, efficient entrance road into Mandurah: Mandjoogoordap Drive. The freeway exit is well sign-posted, and this will connect you through to Mandurah Road, and into the centre of the city.

Alternatively, you could choose the more leisurely inland scenic route, travelling the South Western Highway alongside the Darling Range. Approaching from the south, the Old Coast Road connects to Forrest Highway and links directly to Mandurah.

 

Mandjoogoordap Drive
Pronounced ‘Mand-joo-GOOR-dap’, and meaning ‘meeting place of the heart’, the new road’s name comes from the Indigenous Noongar people.

 

BY TRAIN

Transperth’s Mandurah Line provides a regular fast train service between Perth and Mandurah, leaving from the Underground and Esplanade stations in Perth city, and calling at nine stations along the way.

Travel from Perth to Mandurah takes around 48 minutes in sleek, air-conditioned trains, which depart every 10 minutes in peak periods.

Transperth bus services run from the transit station to the Mandurah foreshore at regular intervals throughout the day.

BY AIR

The Perth Airport Shuttle operates reliable bus services to Perth and Fremantle.

Undercover taxi ranks are located on the ground floor of both the International Terminal (T1) and the Domestic Terminals (T2 & T3).
