Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM) is a City of Mandurah managed exhibition and workshop space that promotes and makes accessible a diverse range of contemporary art.
The CASM Gallery hosts regular exhibitions throughout the year, has studios which accommodate resident artists and a well utilised workshop space. It is particularly suited to emerging artists and recent graduates due to its low cost gallery space and central location. It supports exhibition development and partnerships with artists, arts organisations and communities by providing low cost rental spaces, developmental assistance and information services for exhibitors.
Located at 63 Ormsby Terrace nestled between the City of Mandurah Administration Building and Ac-cent Mandurah, the centre provides a 120sqm central gallery space, two 15sqm artist studio spaces and a 30sqm workshop space.
Expressions of Interest for exhibitions, studio residencies and short term workshop residencies occur twice per year. Applications for creative workshop facilitation can be submitted are all year round.
The Centre is open during exhibitions from Wednesday to Sunday 12noon to 4pm, with extended hours on Thursday through to 5pm.

THe current exhibition at CASM, Halcyon Days by Dorothy Newland is outstanding and well worth your while making the effort to visit prior to closing on Sunday the 28 September. Dorothy is often in her onsite studio for visitors to discuss both her artwork and recent CASM residency.
