Dad vs. the beach!

Perhaps Dad might fancy catching his own dinner? Mandurah Estuary is a great place to fish. The estuary and Peel Inlet provide plenty of safe fishing as there are no waves to contend with. The waters have Herring, Sand Whiting, Bream, Cobbler (catfish), Taylor, Garfish and the occasional bigger fish. You do not need a boat to fish as there are plenty of good jetties to fish from. It's not only Father's Day, but the first day of spring, so relax in the outdoors on a picnic. Enjoy takeaway fish and chips on the Mandurah Foreshore by the stunning Mandjar Bay, or dip your toes and relax by waterfalls or indland waterways at Serpentine Falls in Jarrahdale, Drakesbrook Weir in Waroona, Hotham River Foreshore in Boddington and by the Murray River in Pinjarra.
